The Yellowfin tuna is rod-caught one by one to the Eastern Middle Atlantic traditional inshore fishery. Rod-caught Tuna fishing allows the selective capture preventing overfishing and the discarding of species without value or non-commercial sizes. This type of fishing also allows the fishermen to maintain their traditional ways of life and serves them as economic support for their families.
